Grandma's House

This weekend we went to Grandma Ohimes. Colton and Brady will be staying there this week, hopefully I can make the whole week in CA without getting to sick of missing them! I am sure they are going to have a great time being spoiled.

As we were leaving for Indiana I got a call from my dad saying he was in the hospital and might have had a heart attack. He stayed in the hospital for the last three days and was released today, very scary. It looks as though they are still not sure what happend but they treated him with meds and shots to try to get the heart back in regular rythym and are also treating his severe asthma. We are all thinking of him right now and Bless my WONDERFUL grandparents (Stearns) who went to visit my dad at the hospital while we were in Indiana.

More Father's Day...

Family Fun in Grandpa's Backyard!
Would not be a fun day at Grandpa's without a ride on the tractor.
Grandpa's Little Buddies
Grandma Lori making Brady laugh!

We ended Father's Day with a picnic at Grandpa Terry's all the boys had a blast!

Father's Day

Colton is into making these funny faces when he "poses" for a picture!
Papa Felt and his grand-daughter Brandi!
Grandpa and Grandma Swanson
DADDY and HIS BOYS!

We celebrated Father's Day by starting off volunteering in the nursery at Church, I am pretty sure its JR's favorite activity! Then Papa Felt and Grandma and Grandpa Swanson came over for lunch, we grilled out and enjoyed the nice weather on the deck. Tonight we are going to Grandpa Terry's for desert. So many Dad's and Grandpa's....so little time!

Sunny Days

We were able to get out and enjoy a nice, Michigan Summer, Sunny Day yesterday. The Whitakers joined us. Three two year olds, one boat, and no naps...made for an interesting adventure but all in all it went really well. Jaxson and Brady will probably be giving each other bloody noses some day, they have the same "my way or the high way" personalities and are both little toughies, they are fun to watch, while Colton took a back seat to the excitement and even took a nap! Jarred enjoys the boat too and is waiting to get his turn on the tube. Jarred was the only brave soul who went in the 65 degree water!

Picture 3: Jarred trying to warm up, Colton and Brady thought they wanted to go swimming too.

The Boat

Well rain or shine or finally put the boat in the water today. All three boys were so excited to get in the boat. We were out for about an hour but the waves were a bit much for me. I think we are going to be spending many days at sea this summer. Some swans made a home in the slip next to us, Colton was most impressed with them!

81st and 85th Birthday's

Grandma and Grandpa Stearns turned 81 and 85 this May. It was so nice to have the family over to our house in celebration of their birthday's. They are such amazing people and its wonderful to be able to give them another happy birthday!

Memorial Day

One of my favorite days are the ones where our friends come over with their kiddos and we all just hang out. The kids run wild and have so much fun while the parents get to sit back and watch. Memorial Day was one of those fun times!

Haircuts

So God gave me all boys for three reasons:
1. I do not handle whining well AT ALL!

2. I LOVE watching sports including the wrestling matches that go on in my living room on a daily basis.

3. We do NOT have good hair genes!!

Brady had his first haircut a month before his second birthday not because he needed one, because I wanted him to have one before he was TWO! Colton had his first haircut at 18 months. So at 28 months we went in for our big boy buzz cuts. It was a miracle, both boys sat in their chairs did not utter one sound for 10 minutes and got cute little hair cuts!

April 4th- Jarred Turns 13!

For the BIG 13th Birthday Jarred had a great day. It started off with a half day of school, walking to subway for lunch with his buddies; Cole, Donavon, Jeremy and Joel. I picked them up about an hour later and we headed to the mall where they roamed around for a couple hours. We then met up with Grandpa and Grandma Swanson and Terri and Lori along with JR, Colton and Brady for a steak dinner at Texas Roadhouse this is where Jarred rode the saddle and was embarrassed by the waitresses. He had a great day and is turning into such a wonderful young man, we are enjoying him everyday he has a great sense of humor.

EASTER 2008

March was Easter. Colton and Brady totally got into finding their Easter baskets and even sat on the bunny's lap at the mall. Poor Jarred, I made him sit too for a cute picture, he also had to find where the bunny left his basket! Being 10 years older than your siblings has its ups and downs!

Lets play catch up now! Here is what we have been up to over the last few months. I will start in Feb. with our mid-winter break trip to the Great Wolf Lodge. We stayed at the Lodge with the Conrad's and the Bustard's. The kids had a blast and then we stayed at a resort on Lake MI in Traverse City. Everyone had a great time.

1st Blog!

Well my friend, Shannan, tells me this is the place to be! Maybe I will be better at keeping this up than my scrapbooks! To all of you who do not blog I have found if I save these family blog sites in my favorites I can just click on them weekly and see what everyone has been up to, it is actually really fun! So enjoy watching our family in all our adventures!
